Welcome to a new session of study at Charles Sturt University.
This subject covers a representative range of issues in international finance
and global financial markets. Topics include spot and forward exchange rates,
interest rate parity, currency hedging and exchange rate forecasting techniques.
Also covers new developments in the international financial system such as
euro-commercial
paper and the internationalization of the equity market.
My name is Hazbo Skoko and I will be your lecturer this session. I am Lecturer
in Finance and Economics at School of Management and Marketing. Before joining
CSU I was employed as a Senior Research Officer for the Western Research Institute
in Bathurst. I have also held teaching, research, and commercial appointments
at the University of Montenegro, Podgorica, Montenegro, University of Belgrade,
Faculty of Economics, Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Uppsala University and Gothenburg
University, Sweden, COMBICK GmbH, Frankfurt/Main, Germany. Most recently, I
was a tutor of economics in information technology as well as a business information
systems analyst and adviser to the LincWorks at Lincoln University, New Zealand.
