This subject examines the financing and risk management aspects of corporate
finance, and security and portfolio analysis. Valuation techniques introduced
in the subject Financial Management are applied to various investment types,
incorporating current theories in Finance.
My name is Hazbo Skoko and I will be your lecturer this session. I am Lecturer
in Finance and Economics at School of Management and Marketing. Before joining
CSU I was employed as a Senior Research Officer for the Western Research Institute
in Bathurst. I have also held teaching, research, and commercial appointments
at the University of Montenegro, Podgorica, Montenegro, University of Belgrade,
Faculty of Economics, Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Uppsala University and Gothenburg
University, Sweden, COMBICK GmbH, Frankfurt/Main, Germany. Most recently, I
was a tutor of economics in information technology as well as a business information
systems analyst and adviser to the LincWorks at Lincoln University, New Zealand.
