The project is a major collaborative exercise involving representatives of the stakeholders in children's transition to school. An Advisory Committee consisting of representatives of the industry partners, and other stakeholders form the early childhood field, has been formed. This committee includes representatives from: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Early Childhood State Advisory Group; Association of Independent Schools; Australian Early Intervention Association; Ethnic Child Care Development Unit; Catholic Education Office, Parramatta; Contact, Inc.; Country Children's Services Association; Federation of NSW Parents and Citizen's Associations; Federation of School and Community Organisations; Institute of Early Childhood, Macquarie University; Isolated Children's Parents Association' KU Children's Services Inc.; NSW Department of Community Services, Office of Childcare; NSW Department of Education and Training; NSW Federation of Parents and Friend's Associations; NSW Parents Council; Quality Child Care Association of NSW; SDN Children's Services Inc., NSW Teachers Federation.
